Just spent my free evening reading FYP/ST selection criteria and had the most overwhelming feeling of regret that in this lifetime I'll never be a first-class honour med student with a MSc on the side, with 100+ first-author research papers under my belt, simultaneously a gifted pianist and still finding time to volunteer around the world as the next Mother Theresa. Cos that seems to be the profile they're looking for, judging from their selection criteria. Fuck my life.

I just want in my fucking life to get something I really really wanted so much. And not just settle for scraps because beggars can't be fucking choosers.
