Most likely it has something to do with a drug overdose. Almost always it involves a relatively young person dying way before the average person's global life expectancy of 65 is up. That's why old rockers like Mick Jagger and Paul Mccartney are considered old fossils who managed to overcome the odds stacked against a typical famous musician.
